The Unveiled Gaze

   This collection marks the definitive beginning of my practice, a moment of choosing to be perceived. Centered on the close-up of a half-opened eye, these pieces explore the threshold where the internal soul meets the external world. Against a hazy atmosphere of pink and purple, built upon a deep midnight underpainting, each gaze is an invitation.

   The weight of the oil pastel creates a physical, tactile presence against the soft, sustainable grain of the bamboo paper. Preserved within the works are the "studio marks"—organic distressing, Wabi-sabi edges, and atmospheric paint bleeds—that testify to the raw, honest energy of a first collection. This is my origin; the first window opened for the world to see through.

このコレクションは、私の創作活動における真実なる始まり「知覚されること」を選んだ決意の瞬間を象徴しています。半開きの瞳をクローズアップで描いたこれらの作品は、内なる魂が外部の世界と出会う「境界線」を映し出しています。深い真夜中のような下地の上に重ねられた、ピンクとパープルが溶け合う霞（かすみ）のような情景。その眼差しの一つひとつが、世界への招待状なのです。

 

オイルパステルの重厚な質感が、竹和紙（バンブーペーパー）の柔らかく持続可能な地肌の上で確かな存在感を放ちます。作品には、制作の過程で生まれた「スタジオの痕跡」がそのままに残されています。有機的なテクスチャーの乱れ、侘寂（わびさび）を感じさせる縁の風合い、そして空気に溶け出すような絵具の滲み（にじみ）。これらはすべて、最初のコレクションだけが持つ瑞々しくも剥き出しのエネルギーの証です。

 

これは私の原点であり、世界に向けて初めて開かれた「魂の窓」なのです。
